    Hi Tommy,
What a cool web site. Nancy is showing it to me and I am impressed.
It looks cold on the Great Lakes. It has been cold in Sequim and snowed yesterday. We don’t have huge icicles though.
Bye the way, I have always wanted to purchase an electric key board so I did. You were my inspiration. I am going to learn to play the piano.
    Happy trails and smooth sailing!

Good luck Tom. It’s been a few years since we last met, back in ’96 or ’97 I think it was, at the reunion down at the river. Having spent 20+ years in the Navy I can relate to the call of the sea. Happy sailing and I’ll be keeping a watchful eye on your progress…//Loren

I just found the posted image of the stove so my previous query is answered although I’m still interested in what happens when the fuel runs out? As they say in Brasil: Tudo de bom… may “all good things” come to the voyager.

    Hi Tommy,

I’m totally captivated by your current and upcoming adventure. I’m quite familiar with the area of your journey to date, having spent four years in Sault Ste. Marie with the USCG. I was delighted to read your comments about West Huron island. Actually, I was one of three crew members that automated Huron light back in the summer of 1973 (Mel hadn’t found his true love yet). I was privileged to spend two wonderful weeks out there and, I too, fell in love with it. I will be with you in spirit as you continue on your journey.
